Sammon Group achieves ISO 14001:2004

Sammon Group’s environmental management system has been certified to the ISO 14001:2004 Standard by one of the European leading management system registrars Certification Europe, an Irish based, internationally focused certification body.

“Achieving ISO 14001:2004 registration shows our deep commitment to our employees, our customers, our suppliers and the communities in which we live and work for environmental, health and safety issues,” says Miceál Sammon, CEO, Sammon Group.

To achieve ISO 14001:2004 certification, a company must establish and maintain a detailed environmental management system that allows companies to identify and take the required actions to reduce environmental and health risks, and consistently improves the company’s environmental performance.
In addition to being certified to ISO 14000:2004, Sammon Group is also certified to ISO 9001:2000 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
