High Level Delegation Visits Sammon At BFE MENA
Sammon Group marked its commitment to the MENA education sector by participating as the Gold Sponsor of Building Future Education (BFE) MENA 2011 for the second consecutive year.
Prominent dignitaries attended the opening ceremony on the first day, including: HE Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bowardi, Secretary General to the Executive Council; HE Dr. Ahmed Gamal El-din Moussa, the Minister of Education in Egypt; HE Dr. Mugheer Al Khaili, Director General, ADEC; HE Ciáran Madden, Irish Ambassador to the UAE; Dr. Ahmed Tobal, Associate to the Egyptian Minister of Education for ICT; in addition to various senior international, Middle East and GCC delegates.
HE Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bowardi, HE Dr. Ahmed Gamal El-din Moussa, HE Dr. Mugheer Al Khaili and HE Ciáran Madden paid a visit to the Sammon exhibition stand and had a preview of the completed projects for the Abu Dhabi Future School Program.
BFE MENA provided an excellent opportunity to showcase Sammon Group's impressive track record, including pre-cast, rapid build school solutions and the first schools for Abu Dhabi Education Council in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Several senior members of the Sammon team shared their knowledge and experience to improve the standard of education facilities in the region by meeting education ministries, private operators and school owners that needed specialised and cost-effective solutions for future learning spaces.
In addition, John Dennehy, Non-Executive Director, Sammon Group and Martin Heffernan, Group Business Development Director both participated as speaker in the conference.
