Awarding of 2009 Schools in Rapidly Developing Areas

Following the successful completion of 3 no. schools in 2008, the Sammon Group is delighted to have been awarded Lot 1 of the Department of Education and Science’s 2009 School Building Programme comprising the Design and Build of two 16 classroom schools at Midleton in Cork and Mornington in Drogheda.  Additionally, we have commenced construction of a 12 classroom school in Gorey, Co. Wexford.  Upon completion, the Sammon Group will have designed and built over 135,000 square feet of school accommodation for some 5,000 pupils for the Department of Education and Science.  To review updates on our progress, please look into our Progress photos section of this site.
