SammonVG Contracting Tops Out School In Sharjah

SammonVG Contracting topped out the 159,000sqft G+1 Millennium School project in Sharjah for Premier Schools International on programme in mid-January 2010. SammonVG are constructing the 264,000sqft campus within a demanding 7 month programme.

When complete, the new school will cater for some 2,700 pupils and contains 90 classrooms, 8 purpose-built science and computer laboratories, a 25m swimming pool, 3 libraries, a 700m2 general purpose hall as well as state of the art external sports facilities including a full size all-weather football pitch, basketball courts, multi-use games areas together with all associated ancillary buildings and infrastructure works.

The SammonVG Contracting project team includes Peter Browne as Project Manager, Ray Fahy as Senior Quantity Surveyor, Ray Fleming and Vel Murgan as Senior Site Engineers and Jaya Prakash as MEP Engineer.
