Millennium School Sharjah Handed Over

July 2010 - SammonVG Contracting handed over the first phase of the Millennium School in Sharjah to the client; GEMS (Global Education Management Systems).

The school in Sharjah, one of the seven Emirates in the UAE, will run the Indian curriculum and caters the need for some 1,700 pupils.

The first phase comprises 155,000 sq.ft. and the G+1 school has 45 class rooms, science laboratories, computer labs, multi-purpose sports hall, 25m swimming pool, full size synthetic soccer pitch and basket ball courts. The design incorporates a full grey water sustainable water conservation system.
