Dubai Modern High School - Official Opening

Our sister company, SammonVG Contracting has recently completed the first phase of Dubai Modern High School’s state of the art 1.2 million sq ft campus at Nad Al Sheba in Dubai within a 7 month timescale in time for the commencement of the new Indian School Term in April 2009. The first phase accommodates 2,400 pupils comprising 250,000 sq ft main school building with 64 no. classrooms, science and information technology laboratories, junior and senior libraries, music and art rooms and staff offices together with over 500,000 sq ft of state of the art sports facilities – 25m swimming pool, 1200 sq metres purpose built 400 metre athletic track, 2 no. full size artificial football facilities, basketball courts, volleyball courts and cricket facilities.

SammonVG Contracting has now commenced work on Phase 2 of the Dubai Modern High School campus – comprising a 150,000 sq ft extension to the main school building, 25m swimming pool, multi-purpose hall, a 1,000 seater auditorium together with a further 100,000 sq ft of external sports facilities. SammonVG Contracting has currently 1.5m sq ft of school accommodation under construction in the United Arab Emirates with a further 1m sq ft of school accommodation at design stage in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Bahrain.
