Delighted to handover the keys of Gaelscoil Bharra on Monday September 4th last to the principal Mr. Seán O’Donaille. The morning was a busy one will all pupils returning to their first day of a new school term, with the added excitement of returning to a brand new building incorporating some fantastic facilities.
The new 8 classroom three-storey school building includes an associated Naíonra with separate toilet facilities and its own entrance on Fassaugh Avenue. The project also includes a new all-weather pitch, flood lighting, side netting and a hurling wall at the Quarry Road end of the pitch. The development will have a total floor area of circa 1776sq m.
We wish the staff and students of Gaelscoil Bharra many happy years in their new school building.
