Our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) is at the core of our business’s value system and we strive to remain pro-active in our approach to both internal and external causes. The Sammon Group is privileged to work with several of Ireland’s most committed charities whose dedication and strength translate into substantial change for some of our most needy members of society. While our CSR initiatives are only in their infancy, over the past few years we have been involved with the following charities:
- The Soul Of Haiti
- The Irish Cancer Society
- The North West Hospice
- The Irish Kidney Association
- The Mark Heffernan Trust
- The Irish Heart Foundation
- The National Children’s Hospital Crumlin
- The Society Of Saint Vincent De Paul
- The Renal Unit at St. James’s Hospital
And we remain committed to our local groups by supporting the GAA in Kildare & Leitrim, our local branch of Ceoltas Ceoltoirí Eireann, The Kilcock Musical Society, The Kilcock Festival & St. Patricks Day Parade and some of our local schools. The Sammon Group also maintains a keen interest in their educational projects and have donated sporting facilities and specialist facilities where a requirement is identified. As an organisation we strive to provide support for initiatives which allow us to provide the most sustainable kind of support. This includes educational and community based initiatives. Over the years we have been increasingly surprised by the number of Sammon Group staff who are actively involved in philanthropic activities, and for this reason part of our CSR policy is to provide support to these individuals. The Sammon Group are committed to providing meaningful to support to its charity partners now and in the future.
Below are pictures from our most annual Sammon Charity Golf Classic. Every year our organization holds a charity golf event with all proceeds being donated equally to two chosen charities. This year we choose to raise funds for both the Cancer Research( The Irish Cancer Society) and The North West Hospice. As you can see from the pictures below the event was a great success which raised an amount well in excess of our last years efforts. We would like to sincerely thank all those who sponsored this event.
